Was looking through a lot of the pictures of us on fb because needed to stalk photos for open house. And I found photos dating back to YL2 omg. Good times good times.

I'm just thankful for the times I have had with y'all this year lah. And I think we all made each other grow somehow, somewhere along the way. To the people who have made me laugh, made me smile, made me understand, made me tear (because of good memories k!), made me feel so loved; ah heck, just to Spartans, thanks for being there every step of the way with me this year. Looking forward to a brand new 2012 where I''m sure we'll love each other more and more!

And look forward to the party on friday night okay! It'll be fun (but of course we all know that it can't be not fun with the Spartans right!) :D lets rmb to cam whore like crazy peeps okay! (:

Christmas is going to end soon :( Another 365 days (& A levels) before the next Christmas :(
I hate when Christmas comes to an end, I feel really horrible :( Especially when the tree comes down :((

SPARTANS OUTING

Hello!

Cause I'm mightily bored, I shall blog a bit about yesterday's outing! 

We met at 1 (for those who had lunch tgt) and we headed over to Wisma foodcourt for lunch! And Bingru started handing out presents from Taiwan yay omg! Then after lunch (which included some joke among the guys -.- I'm told never to remember it so let's not dwell too much on it), we went back to Ion and waited for the rest! Finally, after window shopping and hunting for the toilet while escaping the malu-ness of the guys sitting on the floor, everyone came and we went to the super ulu PWKTV!

Which ended up with us sitting on the floor waiting for Party World to open.

The person finally came and we were brought to a MEGA HUGE ROOM and... were forced to downgrade to a smaller room cause of the water puddle outside the room D: But okay I preferred the smaller room cause its more cozy and it was warm omg! (:

And what happened in the blur of the next 4 hours were ridiculous singing and highness where at one point in time I started shouting into the mic (thankfully I think no one noticed) and voices broke and people started singing (or rather shouting) the english parts to korean songs and random old songs from ABBA and omg haha 'THIS IS EPIC' and 'We need another Spartans KTV session' kept flitting through my mind periodically!

So after we cut to our last song at the last possible moment and finished singing it, we had to leave PWKTV D: But of course, not without a picture!

Dinner-ed at BurgerKing and then went home!

Haha okay guys I really want another one please it was honestly really epic HAHA

I like how when we work together on a big task, we can always trust each other to complete and do things to their best ability, never having to worry or check if an assigned job is done

I like how everybody is perpetually high-spirited and genuinely concerned for one another

I like how there is no politics or drama, condescendingness, backstabbing and shit within us, that I can always find comfort, respite and love in OAC

Thank you guys for being one of the best friends I have had in OAC :) Every moment, from the initial home-going to the numerous last minute mugging sessions, have been truly enjoyable for me! whether its Ruth's unbelievable sotongness or Crystal's terrifying temper, everything you guys do never fail to make me laugh, and make me feel superbly loved as a friend :) hope to spend more time with you all and get even closer to you guys!

To Zhan Teng: Hello leader and mortal! Thank you for doing all you have done for OAC. I know that you have really devoted 99% of your time and energy to OAC, and that you never fail to make sure that our every need is taken care of and that nobody's welfare is compromised. Even when you have to shout at us for ITC and take the brunt of the temporary hatred and displeasure, you would do it for duty's sake! We really appreciate all you have done :)

To Daniel: Hello cow! Thank you for always being there to contribute to OAC, being the behind the scenes, just-do-it assistant to zhanteng! Many times I have seen you do things quietly, doing your best to contribute to the best of your ability without expecting any recognition or credit for your actions! Just know that we all can see your effort and we are all superbly thankful to you! continue being superbly nice to us :D

To Rachel and Cailing: Hello nanhuagirls! Thank you for always making such funny and hilarious comments and for the fake (i hope) insults we throw at each other! It was really a lot of fun for me, and I appreciate having you guys as friends :) Rachel, I have known you better after ITC and I hope you continue to be a fake demure princess its damn joke! Cailing, thanks for being a great angel to me amongst all the other shits! Although Sherbelle says its not about the gifts, but I really love to eat and the loacker was amazingly nice haha sorry for forgetting that you were my second mortal! I will make it up to you sometime :)

To Christie and Yijing: Hello short-hair-mysterious-girls! Thanks for being secretly hardworking when it comes to OAC things! Christie, After ITC then i realised that you are actually someone that I can talk to! Thank you for doing your best to open up to me and the rest of OAC during the camp, and we hope to get to know you even better :) What you told me long ago while walking to the busstop was also very amazing and inspiring! Hope I can think like that more often :) Yijing, Thank you for making me laugh at your weird dreams and hair and your crazy shit ego omg.... and your weird moodswings! They make you all the more an interesting and hilarious person :) Hope your hair grows out soon! And ok la you actually contribute A LOT to OAC, and are always doing your best and pushing yourself during PT :) 

To Zheng Ting, Lihao, Bingru and Sylvester: Hello Playful and childish sportsmen! Thanks for entertaining us with all your nonsense HAHAHA whether its the lame sylvester-style jokes, the teasing of the zt's ahem, poking of lihaos fats or laughing at bingru's girls and kiddiness its really amazing the moqi that you all have. Also, Thank you all for always volunteering to do things, to be gentlemen to the girls and to have fun doing it :) it was an inspiration to me!

To Soon Zhou, Lumyi and Jeremy: Hi nice people :) Thank you three for being the 3 nicest guys in OAC! I never fail to see you guys helping out silently and diligently in the background like Daniel, never expecting anyone to notice specially or clamoring for attention for all you all have done. It is really something that i must learn, and I sincerely thank you guys for teaching me that :) Jiayou and never give up for your actions are clear as day and will receive due recognition :)

To Kaiyuan and Slee: Hi cute couple! haha jk Thanks for entertaining OAC with your neverending antics and "dancing"! It is really very entertaining HAHAHA never fails to lighten up the mood. Kaiyuan, sorry for bullying you as my angel, but you shouldn't have revealed it to me I love surprises!!! Thanks for being part of the lazy, greedy and playful clique with me and shenyee! your greed never fails to amuse and motivate me to be even greedier than you HAHAHA juuuust. Thanks though for really putting in effort during ITC to help me :) To Slee, thank you for being such a valuable addition to Chionice!!! With your expertise and valid knowledge, as well as your genial manner really surprised me. From your prior interaction with kaiyuan i expected you to be a bit mean but you were actually 100% nice, never losing your temper at anybody any point in time, and always willing to help our with your strength, never slacking when you have the chance! I have seen your real, nice side through ITC and i hope to be an even better friend to you :)

To Jiaxi and Sherbelle: Hi diligent Exco-fare! Thank you all for being extremely diligent and organized and ultimately SUPER responsible in your tasks :) To Jiaxi, i tried to put myself in your shoes and I would go CRAZY if I were to have to keep track of all the figures, plus handle so much money, and even having to chase people regularly for the money they owe you without being tired and giving up! Your dedication and diligence in your tasks really motivates me :) Sherbelle, thank you for being an extremely efficient and super caring welfare chief for us spartans! Omg I can't believe that it's actually ITC next week!!! :O

I'm actl on my way home from Ruth's house and then I started thinking about ITC and then it led to thinking of YL and then omg suddenly reminded of the laughter and tears we shared (esp during form check) and I suddenly felt like crying. ):

Haha emotional here~~ but I just suddenly realized how lucky I am to have all of you guys by my side all the time and to be honest, I would give anything to always keep this in my memory (: okay maybe I should stop before I start crying on the bus or doing something really retarded like that :/

Anyway yay ended my shift for the student leaders camp it was so boring I was doing it with horses and nobody to talk to~ but at least we ended early keke. RETROSPECTIVE

YAY okay I'm so sorry for neglecting this blog as well kekeke but anyway HI!!!! CRYSTAL HERE~~~~ there's many posts today ley LOLOLOL must be because smart sherbelle posted an easy way to blog on facebook keke, HOWEVER I miraculously remembered the email and password to the blogger account so now I'm actually in blogger posting.

Anyway I shall post about Retrospective (Athena FO2 this year) since we went for it together! :))) (ok except for Christie and we missed you Christie!!!)

This retrospective we really like saikang warriors hehe helped out alot but it was alot of fun ^^ SOME of us put in the effort to dress retro HAHAHA that's quite cool. And we also kinda helped them put up the banner (which failed because the ropes couldn't take it. D: )

And the steamboat had quite some good food I think OAC is very good at cooking hehe I went over to your table a few times to kope food. And our failed supper that night.

1st Ubin Adventure Challenge + Cycling

Okay I'm going to post because this blog looks really dead!!! :/ Time passes really quickly. The last post was before Investiture and now, we already did so many stuff! Especially the SUPER FUN 1st Ubin Adventure Challenge! The organizers are seriously damn good. :P Even the prizes were top draw! KBOX EH! Shall put up a few pictures here!

Fast forward a while and we are on our bikes on a fine Saturday morning! The feeling of cycling again really differs from Bike Hike, maybe because of the bike or the heat? But I'm sure the people who went will agree with me that at least we managed to get a bit of exercise!

That's about all! Here's hoping MAF will be damn good! And jiayou for PW, Spartans! :D

Pre Invest Feelings

OMG everyone. It's invest tomm :O Idk how y'all are feeling, but I'm like worried and anxious and excited and happy and sad and sure and unsure >< what a myriad of emotions I'm feeling huh.

Really hope everything will go fine tomm and that everyone will be able to perform well in everything, from our item, to sundance, to the pt segment, to the pledge. Every single thing! We all know we can do this right! :D Everything will be okay de! Think of all the time we spent on invest manzx! Especially with the loss of our banner and props etc and we had to redo every single thing, I'm sure this made Invest even much more memorable!

After tomm, I guess I'll be able to feel a lil more relieved cause there'll be more time to do other stuff and not just prep for invest day after day after day! But then, we'll be on our own from then on, which honestly makes me feel rather apprehensive too! No one to really guide us; we'll really be on our own alrd! Can y'all believe that! :O Like birds leaving their nest!

I actually don't really know what's the point of this post, but I guess its mostly just, JIAYOU FOR INVEST! This will mark the official start of our OAC journey as one batch, the Spartans! (:

Hello guys!

There's this awesome giant playground air adventure thingo in the east (Yes it's in the EAST) called Forest Adventure. Refer to http://www.forestadventure.com.sg/ I just got reminded of this when Soon Zhou told us about the Sembawang place.
It's cheaper (twenty plus dollars) and really fun but less technical in terms of skills required than the Sembawang one, I think. Safer too I promise! Unless you forget to hook on your carabiner and fall down and die or drop into the resevoir and drown.

ANYWAYS

We'll make it a date to go there in November 2012 if you're all interested all right! :D
Cus the catch is we're all under 18 and under-18 partipants need adult supervision!! Like 2 adults to 3 kiddos!!
So we can only go after Cailing's birthday (:

 Hello peeps! :) Just a random post to keep the blog alive! And the first post that's not from the welfare chief!

CCA session today was really productive physically and ths picture above is proof of it!

We kayaked a total of 21km on the kayak machine in less than 2 hours and all I can say is we showed true perseverance! So proud of everyone. :D HAHA the kayak machine is much harder to kayak than the real kayak okay!

Nothing much to say already! Just hoping Investiture 2011 will be gooooooooooooooooooood! :D

KAYAKING COURSE 09-10June2011

Hello everyone! :D

We are (almost) all official one-star kayakers now! :D So next time we can go kayaking on saturdays when we're bored HAHA lets hope no one capsizes okay! (: But I guess if we go to reservoirs, the probability is much MUCH lower (:

Gonna post some pictures from the course, go find the rest on fb (oh and here's a shout out: when y'all are bored, please go tag pictures cause I'm super lazy SORRY :P) okay! (: Will upload there after I post here! (:

Hope y'all had as much fun as I did during the whole kayaking course~! Learnt many new skills like the CAPSIZE DRILL (omg fail capsize family :P) and all the strokes and draws! And thanks to our Sea Chiefs for organising this and being so dedicated and one of the first few to reach Pasir Ris the past two days! And to everyone: please take care of yourself and your sunburns, apparently aloe vera is supposed to help yupp!

FIRST POST

HI GUYS. :D

uh Caijing told me it's like a 'tradition' thing that every OAC batch have their own blogs hahaha, and this year they made the welfare people do it so Sherbelle and I have to do it! So yeah this is our blog currently.
It looks quite horrible now yes I know but I kinda forgot how to use blogger to do everything already. :/ Anybody wanna help? :O

Hahaha anyway we need to take a bath photo soon please! Maybe one day during our cca time.
BTW jiayou for the future bike hike recces and this year's bike hike!
